Art & Chat Group

Every Friday, at the Bowling Club at Douglas Park on Irving Road, the Art and Chat group get together to paint using oils, acrylics, watercolours and inks, to draw using pastels, pencils and crayons and to chat. As of the 29th. Septemberthe group meets on Fridays, Douglas Park, 9.30 till 12.30 pm

All members work at their own pace with whichever medium they feel most comfortable. No formal tuition is given but advice and constructive criticism is offered by experienced members when requested.

The group has some members who have been painting for many years, selling their pictures through galleries and art shows, other members have only been drawing or painting for a very short time. All enjoy the company of like minded friends, creating art in a friendly inviting atmosphere..  Now some members pictures can be seen on the Gallery.
