Spanish (Beginner)

Many of the OIR members go on holiday to Spain or the Spanish islands and feel they get a lot more enjoyment from their holiday if they are able to speak some of the language. Some do the classes just to keep their minds that little bit sharper. They are 'fun' classes with no exams or tests. Members go at their own pace and put as much, or little, into it as they wish. Tapes and videos are used, and dictionaries and simple textbooks are required.

Spanish Beginners... this is for absolute beginners where members are taught the basic rules of pronunciation and grammar, and by the end of the session should be able to carry on  simple conversations in Spanish.

The Spanish Beginners class is held in Largs Library, Allanpark Street, on Mondays, 10am - 12 noon.
