MONTHLY MEETING
THURSDAY 3rd. APRIL
Our Guest Speaker for April is Eddie Williams who has been a wildlife watcher for many years with a particular interest in birds.
In 2017 he moved from Lochwinnoch to Great Cumbrae where most of his time has been devoted to surveying the bird life of the Island. This involves the counting and recording of all species on the Island as well as peak counts of key species, including nesting records of Oystercatchers and Ringed Plovers. To date he has recorded 141 species on or around the Island. In the summer months Eddie also monitors the Butterflies of Great Cumbrae.
This promises to be a very interesting talk so why not join us in
the Main Hall of Largs Parish Church (formerly Clark Memorial)
at 2 pm on Thursday 3rd April?
The usual refreshments will be served after the talk.
