Day and Time: First Tuesday of every month from 3:45pm to 4:45pm

Brief Description:

At the Book Group we read one book a month selected by our members from a substantial list provided by Largs Library.  The range of titles is very varied and we score each one at the end of the session.         

We are a very lively (and chatty!) bunch and our discussions range from the book being discussed to anything else going on in the world (or more likely in Largs!)

There is a charge of £1.50 to cover the hire of the room and tea/coffee. 

If all this sounds a bit boring it definitely isn’t. There is an awful lot of banter and laughter in our room at the Library every month! 

Last year we had a very successful afternoon tea in May and we have already repeated this in 2026.
