Viewing of the Kelpies is completely free. There are tours available online at the Helix website, guided tours are around £8.50 and last about 25 minutes. Pre-booking is advised.

There is a cafe at the foot of the Kelpies offering indoor seating, hot drinks, soups, sandwiches and cake daily.

The extended park offers ponds and canal paths and a visitor hub to explore.

The Falkirk Wheel. The world's only rotating boat lift, the Falkirk Wheel links the Forth & Clyde Canal 35 meters above, allowing vessels  to sail through the sky thanks to a unique fusion of art and engineering - and the same power it would take to boil eight kettles.

Our boat tour is booked for boarding 14.20 with a departure time of 14.30. Cost £13.20 per person over the age of 16, payable on the day. If there is anyone in the group who does not want to do the trip there is no cost to go into the centre or site.
