Brief Description:

The Ukulele Group is very relaxed and is fun. There are about 30 of us with a wide range of abilities. We meet at 2pm and have an hour of playing and singing a wide range of songs, for our mutual pleasure and amusement. Then we have a 20 minute break for tea and biscuits, and blether, then back to the strumming until 4pm.

We don’t have a ‘tutor’. We are self-led by a couple of very willing and skilled Group members (Sandra and Lorna). The fact that we don’t have to pay a teacher means the cost can be kept very low - at £2.50 per session. Tea, coffee and biscuits is an occasional £1 in the kitty.

We play for pleasure, and a wee bit of learning.  Please come and share in our enjoyment.
